LEAP Coach
Jessica has been an educator for more than 20 years serving both public and tribally controlled schools in New Mexico.
Jess holds a Level Three-A k-8 teaching license with an endorsement in Reading, and a National Board Certification in Literacy: Reading – Language Arts. She has served as Lead Teacher and Mentor several times throughout her career, and has chaired Student Achievement Teams to assist teachers with intervention strategies.
She received her BA in 2000 through LIU Global (formerly known as Friends World College) and a MA in Anthropology in 2007 through New Mexico Highlands University.
Her goal as a LEAP Coach is to support the effectiveness and creativity in teachers who are serving their communities.
